Course Description

Process/Activity Modeling. Process Modeling is a structured activity modeling technique focused on defining the various activities performed in the creation of an organization's products or services. It is essential in understanding "What" work is being done in the organization, i.e. the "Right Things".

Process Mapping. Process Mapping is a structured technique that focuses on "How" that work is performed. Value Stream Mapping will focus on defining the cycle time and lead time of product/service production and identifying value added and non-value added work. Both techniques are critical to gaining a full understanding of the interactions of the process and ensuring the organization is doing "Things Right".

Process Modeling/Mapping Analysis. Process Modeling/Mapping Analysis aids an organization in determining what activities it should, and should not, be doing thus focusing it on the "Right Things done Right".
